Run For Hope 2022
Cooler weather is around the corner, and that means it’s time for outdoor fun – football, hayrides, pumpkin patches, and the 22nd Annual RUN FOR HOPE!
The run will be held Saturday, November 12th at Bonita Lakes and includes a 10k Trail Run, a 5k Road Race, a 2 Mile Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The Hope Village Guild would like to invite you to come with a friend, or to gather your running group, school friends, or office co-workers and take our group challenge. Can’t make it to the run? No worries! You can join us virtually with the registration link below! All proceeds benefit the children of Hope Village for Children.
Registration
You can register by mail, online here, or in person at Hope Village for Children, located @ 2433 23rd Ave. We strongly encourage pre-registration to eliminate confusion on race morning. *There is a special group registration available for schools, office, churches. The preregistration fee for the 10k Run is $20; 5k Road Race is $20; 2-mile Walk is $18; 1-mile Fun Run is $18. After November 9th the fee for all races on race day will be $25 for each event.
Runners and Walkers Packets
The race packets contain race information, runner’s number, safety pins, and T-shirt. Preregistered runners and walkers may pick up your race packet on Friday, November 11th from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Bonita Lakes Boat Ramp at the Coke Wagon.
Race day: Pick up your packet and/or register (late registration will apply) from 6:30 – 7:30 am at Bonita Lakes. Absolutely no registration will be taken after 7:45 am on Race Day. Races will begin promptly at 8am.
Details
Parking is available at the upper lake and boat landing, but the dam will be blocked off at 7:45 am to prepare for the Fun Run. Please arrive prior to 7:45 if you wish to park at the upper lake or boat landing.
Complimentary beverages and food items will be available to all runners immediately following each race.
The Awards Ceremony will be held immediately following the final race of the day.
