Hope Village Location

Hope Village for Children is located on nearly 30 acres of land in the heart of Meridian, Mississippi. This property has long been used as a facility for children. Being inside the city ensures emergency services such as ambulance, fire, and police protection are readily available to our children. This location also allows our children to attend the Meridian Public Schools, which are very supportive and understanding of their special needs.

Hope Village Facilities

The Hope Village campus consists of five cottages, two transitional homes, a cafeteria (future recreation center), a gymnasium, an education center, and a fenced swimming pool. Each cottage is 4000 square feet and contains eight bedrooms and six bathrooms, two large living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen. The homes were built in the mid 1960’s, but have undergone extensive renovations. The gymnasium provides a place for the children to play inside when necessary. It has a full size basketball court and can be used for many recreational activities. The property also includes a three-bedroom, two-bath residence which serves as an education/art center.

Acreage

Approximately twenty-two acres at this site are developed and provide abundant space for playground equipment and other outside activities. The land is well-maintained and provides a beautiful setting for children to grow up. There are seven acres of underdeveloped property which is available for further expansion.
